It is time to resurrect this blog! After being inspired at the 2011 ISTE Conference in Philadelphia this past week, it is time to inspire others to create the change that needs to happen in schools.
Personally, this was the first conference I attended that I didn't use paper to take notes thanks to my iPad and the stylus I received for Father's Day from my oldest child. Using WritePad and Penulimate, I took all my notes for the conferences on my iPad. I was so glad I didn't have to lug my laptop all over the conference center.
On the last day, I attended two great sessions. One by David Thornburg and another by Will Richardson. Lots of ideas to digest from these sessions. I will add highlights in coming posts.
Great tool...Flipboard for iPad! Allowed me to create my own ISTE magazine on my iPad. More ISTE discoveries to come in the next few days.
